Life-Sized Figure Drawing

A couple of semesters ago, I took a figure drawing class at school and loved it. I learned so much just about the technicalities of draftsmanship but also learned about the beauty of the human body as a work of art created by God in His image and not an object of lust and desire. I pursued an independent study in figure drawing (it helps a LOT with sculpture) which concluded with this particular drawing, the single largest and longest time I've ever spent on a drawing. I am pleased with the results. It took roughly six hours and is in fact life-sized.
